Sometimes it all begins with kindergarten and cornflowers
A hand-drawn sketch became the starting point of our collaboration
Fragments of the process: working with texture and color
The client’s genuine reaction
A client wanted to order a wall clock with cornflowers — inspired by the name of her child’s kindergarten group “Vasilyok”. She sent me a simple hand-drawn sketch, and I turned it into a full-fledged interior art piece that became the room’s centerpiece.
To bring the sketch to life with precision and meaning, we discussed every detail — the shape of the clock, the dial, the numbers, the shades, the gold leaf, and the hands. Not a single element in this piece was left to chance
Once everything was approved, I began the work. First came the overall mood — then the cornflowers. Each petal was painted separately, with its own shades and texture. I wanted not just to depict cornflowers, but to capture that fleeting feeling — as if they had just been picked from a morning field
The clock turned out exactly as the client had imagined — silver, blue, full of lightness and air, with cornflowers that look almost alive
A result that speaks louder than any description
My artworks are more than just interior decoration. Each one carries meaning, reflects your trust, and tells its own story — both for you and for those to whom you wish to give something truly special.
I strive to capture the essence of your idea, to feel its mood, and to bring it to life so it continues to live within the finished piece — expressing your individuality or a warm message meant for someone dear
