The Space Between Two States (diptych)

1800.00
This diptych depicts a subtle transition between inner states—a space that is not fixed but constantly changing.

Each part represents a distinct phase of awareness. The left side is perceived as more open, scattered, and searching—a moment of uncertainty when form is still dissolving and redefining itself. The right side introduces contrast and weight: a darker presence reflecting a confrontation with oneself—with fear, depth, and the unknown.

Delicate, almost fragile lines run across both canvases like quiet boundaries. These are not physical but internal boundaries—lines we carry within ourselves, often invisible yet deeply influential. They separate, connect, and guide the movement between states.

The restrained palette—black, muted blues, soft beiges, and not-quite-white shades—reflects an emotional progression: from depth and tension toward clarity and acceptance. In my “Horizon” series, the horizon is not a visible line but an internal point of transition—the place where awareness begins.

This work invites silence. It does not ask to be understood immediately, but asks to be felt—as a pause between what was and what is becoming.
